James Gordon Fellows walked with his faithful Lord Jesus into Heaven on Monday, March 15, 2010. At his side were his two daughters and sons-in-law. He was 85. Jim was born in northern Idaho, raised in eastern Washington, and lived in Gilroy and Santa Cruz. His wife of 56 years, Viola, preceded him in death in 2008. He was employed for 37 years with Coast Counties Gas and Electric and PG&E. Jim leaves behind two daughters, Debbie and Dawn; three grandchildren: Kierstyn and Colton Voyles, and Kirk Gandolfi Jr.; a brother, Dale, and a sister, June Dumbeck, both of Pomeroy, WA; and many other beloved family members and friends. Services were held Monday, March 22, 2010, in Santa Cruz. The family requests donations may be made to Nacitone Regional Interpretive Center, P.O. Mildred Zappa passed away September 13, 2008 in Capitola. She was born in Pennsylvania to Italian immigrant parents on September 24, 1923. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clyde Zappa and their son Lenny; survived by her daughter Claudia and husband Roger Martin of Boulder Creek, son David Zappa of Forestville, son Mark Zappa and wife Sandi of Gilroy, daughter Jeanine and husband Brian Sollom of McKinnleyville, and daughter Carol Zappa of Capitola. She is also survived by her grandchildren Frank Bauer, Lia Holden, Lenny, Molly, and Emmy Zappa, Michelle Moon, Danielle Zappa, and Brian and Jeremy Sollom; and great-grandchildren Bristol and Bryce Holden.
Wyvonne Johnston entered into rest on January 15, 2011 in Gilroy, CA. She is survived by her children; Jimmy (Dee) Tallon of Santa Cruz County, Sue (Dan) Crumrine of Gilroy, Bill (Shirley) Alread of Santa Cruz County and Daryl (Misty) Alread of Monterey County; grandmother of Jaime, James Anthony, Michael, Monica, Dana, David, Jeremy, Jenny, and Lacey; also survived by many great grandchildren.
Phyllis passed away peacefully on 10/16/07. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynnda Neustedter of St. Louis and Kristine McNutt of Soquel, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
