Lillian Mosegard Nicholls
Born on the family ranch in Morgan Hill on September 27, 1918, Lillian was a life-long resident of Morgan Hill. She passed away on November 3, 2008, at her home at the age of 90.
Imogene (Jane) Stockam
Imogene (Jane) Stockam passed away July 31, 2007 at Saint Louise Hospital at the age of 82. She was born in Amarillo, Texas in 1925. She retired from Becton-Dickenson after 30 years with them. In retirement she enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, doll collecting, her cats, house plants and keeping in touch with her friends and family. She is survived by her adopted sister and brother-in-law, Patt and Leo Harris of Santa Clara, her children; Louise Stockam and Stan Stockam of Morgan Hill. Her youngest son, Mike Stockam, passed away in 2004. She also leaves 3 grandsons, 4 great-grandsons, 3 great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all.

Helen Hawkins Lord passed away peacefully one month after her 95th birthday.

Akiye Hirata, age 87. A long time resident of Morgan Hill, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2008. She is survived by sons, Masao Jr. (Hiroko), David, Jerry, daughter Joyce, four grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Dear mother of Richard Tovar Sr. of Gilroy. Maria was grandmother of Leanna Lee of Delaware and Richard Tovar Jr. of Clovis, CA. and great-grandmother of Kalem Lee of Delaware. She is also survived by many brothers, sisters and cousins. She was a native of Gilbert, AZ. Vigil Tuesday, September 30, 2008 – 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Graveside Services Wednesday, October 1, 2008 – 11:00 A.M. at San Juan District Cemetery.

Peter Alosi
Peter was born in Pomona, California. He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 at Bass Lake, California while on vacation with his family. Peter attended grammar and high school in Morgan Hill. He married his high school sweetheart, Virgie Dillon in 1957. They were married for fifty-two years. Peter and Virgie with their three small children moved to Hollister in 1967.
