He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Helen Redd in 1979; survived by his eight children Drucilla (Jim) Griffin of Ashland, OR, Loretta Martinez, Klamath Falls, OR, Mary (Jim) Garcia of Gilroy, Jim (Sharon) Redd of Eureka, CA, Margaret (Bill) Gregory, Klamath Falls, OR, Mike (Kristi) Redd of Klamath Falls, OR, Larry (Shelley) Redd of Klamath Falls, OR, and Debbie (Donald) Hopf of Gilroy; also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Jim was lovingly cared for in his final years by Al Roybal and Delmy Cienfuegos.

Beloved daughter of Mary Silva and the late Louis P. Silva, sister of William L. Silva and aunt of Lindsey M. Silva. A native of San Jose. She resided in San Martin for 60 years. She also leaves her aunts and uncles, Lorraine (John) Figueira, Anthony (Dorothy) Souza all of Santa Clara, Isabel Silva of Gilroy and Bernadette Silva of San Jose, and many cousins and numerous friends.
