Dear Editor,
A letter writer has me very confused. I would ask for some
clarification from Tony Weiler.
Here’s what I’m confused about. A) Your letter indicates that
you believe in God. That you prayed for John Kerry to win even
though he stood for abortion (killing of voiceless lives),
euthanasia, and more immoral stances than I care to list here. So,
who is this god that you pray to?
Dear Editor,

A letter writer has me very confused. I would ask for some clarification from Tony Weiler.

Here’s what I’m confused about. A) Your letter indicates that you believe in God. That you prayed for John Kerry to win even though he stood for abortion (killing of voiceless lives), euthanasia, and more immoral stances than I care to list here. So, who is this god that you pray to? The God of Christianity, Islam and Judaism that we know does not approve of those immoral issues that Kerry stood for. You want proof. Read the Bible and refer to the Ten Commandments.

Did God say no to John Kerry? YES HE DID. He did it with a loud voice that all who have ears can hear. And again, you’re right about saying “who are we to challenge His infinite wisdom.”

It sounds to me like you need to spend some time contemplating what that wisdom might be. Accepting abortion and euthanasia is not part of that wisdom.

B) You try to bring back the scare tactics that we hear from the pacifists in this country and around the world that in order to end terrorism we should bow to the terrorists and meet their demands. You told us so intelligently about the different stages in a fired missile and how it could reach us here in California if it had not failed, almost like you were taking some sort of pleasure in knowing that a terrorist country like North Korea can reach us with missiles.

I work for a defense contractor company and I take pleasure in knowing that we know about such evils and we have the defensive missiles and technology unlike any other country in the world to defend ourselves and our nation. However, we take the stance the best defense is a strong offense.

With that said, I was born and raised in Iran until I was 15 years old. The Iranians here and back home can hardly wait until the day that the evil Islamic regime of Ayatollah Khomeini is sent to hell to rest there with all other evil doers. The coalition troops are in my prayers and the prayers of my family all the way from Tehran-Iran that they may be safe and successful in their global effort to find, destroy and put an end to this evil spirit called terrorism. By the way, HAIL TO THE CHIEF and God bless America for standing up for truth and choosing God and His moral principals bestowed on this nation and set forth by founding fathers of this nation.
