Dear Editor,

Amidst the clutter and confusion of this season comes Dispatch columnist Dina Campeau (Happy Holidays – Why I Loathe the Christmas Season – Dec. 16), sitting tall astride her great white stallion, Righteousness, and holding high the unfurled pro-union banner left by the now-departed columnist Dennis Taylor.

Though she laments “… why I loathe the Christmas season…” she also has words for an unknown “letter writer” who, she asks: “… when you took the time do discover Wal-Mart’s policies on he proper (Christmas) greeting, did you also happen to ask …?” followed by 70 words of union-created nonsense and 19 words reflecting her skill as sarcasm.

If you’re going to demonize Wal-Mart, Ms. Campeau, identify your source(s). Don’t use meaningless mutterings, the fictionalized follies of a union-created and/or union-supported Internet web site (wehatewamartsoutherePffttt.com!!!) The “facts” you present so assuredly are simplistic and, in typical union shuck-and-jive, neither verifiable nor accountable. They represent the typical unionized smoke-and-mirrors to hopefully (yet ignorantly) manipulate public perceptions and somehow force unionism into Wal-Mart’s world-wide operations.

That won’t happen!
