DEAR EDITOR:

Some days are just bad days. Like Thursday April 17th on The Dispatch opinion page. Both Jack Dwan and Bill C. Jones wrote comedic letters that were not funny. I say that they were comedic letters because both of their letters completely lacked facts or any relationship to the real world, thus I assumed they must have been written to be funny. Too bad that they were not funny. I guess maybe it isn’t so funny when two letters are so wrong and their authors don’t know it. Sad, very sad.

On the bright side Joe Thompson wrote a great letter explaining why the Valley Transportation Authority is in trouble due to the simple fact that public-sector (publicly owned) transport is a bad idea. Thanks Joe, it wasn’t such a bad day after all.
