215 drivers arrested on suspicion of DUI in county since Aug. 17
Law enforcement officers throughout Santa Clara County have arrested 215 motorists on suspicion of DUI since Aug. 17, according to the sheriff’s office.

The suspect in the July 22 murder of a 21-year-old man at Sobrato Transitional Apartments on Monterey Street is “actively avoiding” police contact – and because police have not obtained the handgun used in the shooting, he is considered armed and dangerous.
