Alejo accepts nominations for Woman of the Year
March is Women's History Month. To commemorate the outstanding women in our communities, Assemblymember Luis A. Alejo will name one leader from the district the 2012 Woman of the Year.
City Hall art gallery gives photographer good exposure
City Hall is offering up a free dose of art with every visit. Among the many departments handing out stacks of paperwork and permits, the art gallery gracing the walls of City Hall’s central corridor is doling out inspiration to passersby.
City to hold special budget presentation
City officials will hold a special presentation 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 7301 Hanna St., to explain Gilroy's budget and poor financial health and to clarify any misunderstandings residents may have about indebted funds.
