Council approves raises for city clerk, administrator
Gilroy City Council unanimously approved a series of 2 percent salary increases for both the city clerk and city administrator at the April 21 meeting.

The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes this week, including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and embezzlement. Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter April 22 through 28. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
