MaryAnne Haag, loving wife of Robert Michael Haag and devoted mother of Brooke and Laura Haag, all of Hollister, died peacefully Monday evening at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Henry and Elza Silveira, both deceased, and sister to Beatrice Rosati.
Gloria Gibson passed away Saturday afternoon at her home in Paicines at the age of 84. She was born in San Francisco and came to San Benito County in 1946, when she married her husband, Jack. Jack Gibson passed away in 1997. Gloria was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tres Pinos. She loved cooking and entertaining family and friends, along with crocheting and traveling with her husband, Jack.
Philip entered into rest after 102 wonderful years. He was born in Wakayama, Japan, and arrived in the United States in 1915. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Sakaye, daughter Rose (Saito), sister Kathryn (Murata) and grandson Todd. He is survived by: sisters, Grace Takashima, Dorothy Katayama and Mary Nakayama (Wayne); sons, Arthur, Isao and Richard; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Florence Jean Vallejo passed away Monday morning at her home in Hollister at the age of 69. Born and raised in Hollister, she had lived here all her life. Florence married Anthony Vallejo, her high school sweetheart, 48 years ago. She was an entrepreneur at heart having owned several businesses with her husband .They had the Tres Pinos General Store for 5 years, then they owned Vallejo Meat which eventually became the Vallejo's Deli and Meat Processing. Florence sold real estate for 12 years and eventually full filled her life long dream of becoming a professional poker dealer.
Steven (Steve) Sardinha, loving husband of Peggy and loving Son of Frank & Faye Sardinha of Visalia. He was preceded in death by mother, Hazel Davenport, "Pops" to Gene (Teri Lynne) Koehler of Rohnert Park, and Patty Koehler of Petaluma;
Parents were the late Howard & Pearl Buck. David was born & raised in Hollister and graduated from SBJUHS 1970. He served in the Army from 1970-1972. He lived & worked in Madera. David is survived by sisters Kathy Montgomery and Rosemary Garcia and their families, & the family of Leslie & Mary Jane; Thomas, Richard & Bruce Valentine. Private services are being held..
Mary Marget Wallace passed away at the age of 79, Friday, in Sun City West, Arizona. Born in Indiana, she came to California in 1961, having resided in San Juan Bautista from 1975 to 1993. She had received her Bachelor's Degree at Gavilan College.
