William John Flodberg passed away March 16, 2009. He is survived by his wife Sheila; stepchildren Michael, Fran and Diane; and his sister Caryl of Santa Rosa. Preceded in death by his brother Ted and sister Phyllis.
HAZEL SCOTT CRONIN CONNERY, born 7/6/15 in Whitney, SD and a resident of Gilroy, died peacefully surrounded by family on 4/3/09. She was a highly adored daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Predeceased by husbands Patrick Cronin and Charles Connery and daughter Maeve Cronin-Williams. Hazel will be sadly missed by her children Deirdre (late Hugh) Saracino, Eileen (late Daniel) Cuevas, Kevin (Gail) Cronin, Kathleen Cronin (Sean Maffett), Joan Cronin (Sean Dempsey), and Coemella Cronin (John Wilson), and her loving sister Ruth. Loving Grandma to 19, Great-Grandma to 6 and Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Despite life's many challenges, Hazel remained unflappable, gracious, positive, and patient. Her garden and home were reflections of her character. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy, Thursday, 4/9/09, 10:00 A.M. Julian Macias, of Gilroy, CA passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2009, surrounded by his family. Mr. Macias is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elvira Macias, sons Benito (Paula Alejo) Macias, Manuel (Ilana) Macias, Belem (Eduardo) Rodriquez, Reyna Pichardo, Beatriz and Petra Macias, 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Julian Macias first arrived in Morgan Hill in 1973 and soon thereafter moved to Gilroy where he made his home.
David Andrew Weingartner passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, CA. David was born and raised in Binghamton, NY where he graduated from Binghamton Central High School. After earning his Associate's Degree from Broome Technical Community College he worked for the Ansco Company before joining IBM in Endicott, NY. In 1966, he moved to San Jose, CA where he worked as a Project Manager for IBM until his retirement in 1991 after 35 years of service.
