Anita Razo and Jess Lopez Jr. were married Aug. 31 at San Juan
Mission.Razo is the daughter of Mario and Nellie Razo of Gilroy,
and Lopez is the son of Jess Lopez Sr. and Yolanda Corsick or
Gilroy.
Razo is a 1991 graduate of Gilroy High School and earned a
bachelor’s degree in sociology at Chico State University and a
master’s degree in counseling and educational philosophy at Chapman
University. She is currently employed as a school psychologist.

Lopez is a 1989 Gilroy High School Graduate and also earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Chico State University. He is currently a police officer for the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Razo chose Molly Gannon as her maid of honor and had attendants Josie Merida, Yolanda Razo, Christi Luccia, Leticia Chaves and Raquel Lopez.
Lopez’s best man was Johnny Salgado and ushers were Dave Perez, Mario Razo Jr., Roy Alba, Marco Lopez and Dave Vosel.
After a reception at the Gilroy Elks Lodge, the two took off for a honeymoon in the Bahamas as they began their new life together.
