Thank you Gilroy Dispatch!! I was very happy to see the story on the “problems” plaguing our Gilroy Post Office. We have lived in Gilroy for more than 8 years and have frequently experienced the problems stated in your article – plus many more.
We have gone so far as to move our mailbox (at our own expense) to the other side of the driveway, where there is no place to park, in hopes of continuing to receive our mail. There were a few times when that wasn’t even enough. Our letters to the postmaster and phoned-in complaints to the local postal supervisor have just been ignored.
We hope that your article will help improve the mail situation here in Gilroy. Is it nice to know that we are not alone in our plight? No, it’s sad!
