Prepare otter diets, help plan and participate in a training session and create enrichment toys. Small group size (three people maximum per session) gives each participant a personalized experience. Fridays and Sundays only through Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon. at Monterey Bay Aquarium, 886 Cannery Row. Ages 14-18. $230 per person/$195 for aquarium members; aquarium admission not included. Violin concert

SANTA CRUZ – Violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg will return to the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium for one night only.

Salerno-Sonnenberg will perform the world premier of composer Clarice Assad’s Concerto for “Violin and Orchestra,” as well as Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso,” and Jules Massenet’s “Meditation from Thaïs.” The performance takes place Tuesday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 to $40 and are available at the Santa Cruz Civic Box Office, 307 Church Street or by calling (831) 420-5260 or online at www.cabrillomusic.org.

One Nation Tour

SANTA CLARA – The One Nation Tour will make its only Bay Area stop at Paramount’s Great America on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the park’s Redwood Amphitheater. One Nation Tour unites Grammy award-winning artist Michael W. Smith, Mercy Me and the Dave Crowder Band for an evening of Christian music. James Williams Trio

SANTA CRUZ – Former teen sensation Tiffany will give two free shows at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday as part of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk’s “Pepsi Presents: Free Friday Night Bands.” In 2001, the ’80’s teen sensation released her first full-length album in more than 10 years. Aquarium summer nights

MONTEREY – For its 20th anniversary year, the Monterey Bay Aquarium will have its “Summer Nights Celebration” in which it stay open until 9 p.m. on July 31 while visitors enjoy live jazz, special auditorium programs and feeding sessions at the sea otter and kelp forest exhibits, and extended hours at the Portola Cafe and gift and bookstores.
