Gilroy – This workshop is designed for the small business owner who uses or would like to learn how to use QuickBooks 2006.
Learn to manage and reconcile business accounts, write and print checks, keep track of income and expenses, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, inventory, payroll, purchase orders, estimating and many other bookkeeping tasks that are relevant to run a successful business.
This is a 3-week progressive course that takes you through the basics to learning how to synchronize your QuickBooks contacts with other contact management programs such as Outlook.
The dates for this series are Tuesday, April 11, 18 and 25, from 6 to 8pm at the Gavilan College SBDC, 8351 Church St., Bldg. E.
The cost for this 6-hour workshop is $90 payable in advance.

‘Smart Women Finish Rich’
Gilroy – “Smart Women Finish Rich” is the subject of a seminar to be given Thursday, March 30, by Ann Elliott, Regional Vice President, in partnership with Van Kampen Investments, Inc. at noon at Fortino Winery, 4525 Hecker Pass Highway. Admission is free.
