A San Jose man died while riding a bicycle in north Morgan Hill.

Linh Ngoc Nguyen, 40, was pronounced dead at the corner of Monterey Road and Tilton Avenue shortly after emergency personnel arrived Sunday afternoon, according to Morgan Hill police Sgt. Jerry Neumayer.

Police responded to a report of an unconscious man lying in the road next to a bicycle about 12:30 p.m. Sunday, said Neumayer.

The exact cause of death was unknown at press time, according to an official with the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office. Neumayer said the man had prior medical conditions.

The man, who had been riding a bicycle, was not involved in an accident or collision at the intersection, said Neumayer.
