We were just at the outlets in Gilroy and went into a store. The air conditioner was blasting and they had all four doors open at the business. Why would they leave the doors open when it was in the high-80s?
“Why are we continuing to build and we're in a drought? I got my water bill today and it said ‘drought alert.’ Why would the city allow people to keep building houses so they can spread what little water we have for the community members who live here to use? As a tax paying community member, I'm not happy about that. If we're in a drought, don't add more people. We need to get some fresh people in there making the decisions. They need to halt all that building.”
I went to a funeral reception at the Gilroy Elks Lodge and Dave Bozzo is reinstated as the chef. Everything was delicious: the meat, the pasta, the chicken. Just wanted to tell everybody that Dave Bozzo has come back to serve the public at the Gilroy Elks Lodge. It was a delicious luncheon.
Does the city ever plan on cracking down on the fruit vendors on the corners of Gilroy streets? Do these vendors have business licenses? Where is the fruit coming from? The state requires all food sold to be prepared in sanitary kitchens. Is this fruit being prepared in such manner?
“Why does the city allow contractors at the various construction sites in Gilroy to use potable water from fire hydrants in dust mitigation? Since we are in a drought, it would make water conservation sense for them to use the treated non-potable water from the waste treatment plant instead.
