Veteran Realtor Joe Brown named president

San Jose – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the leading real estate brokerage in Northern California, announced today that long-time South Bay Realtor® Joe Brown has been named president and chief operating officer of the company’s Silicon Valley region.

A 26-year real estate veteran, Brown had been the managing broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s San Jose Main and San Jose Willow Glen offices, overseeing the sales activity and general operations of the two offices as well as more than 185 sales associates.

Brown began his real estate career in 1980 and earned his broker’s license in 1986.

Brown said he was excited and honored by the opportunity to lead Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Silicon Valley.

“We are fortunate to have an extremely talented and well-respected team of real estate professionals here in the South Bay,” he said. “They are the reason why Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the top brokerage in the region.”

Brown has been credited several times in his career with bringing in top real estate talent and ultimately expanding his company’s operations. With Prudential Realty, Brown opened the company’s San Jose office with no agents and within two years built a team of 53 sales associates. As manager of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in San Jose, he expanded his team from 84 agents to 206 in just four years. Of those recruits, many were ranked among the top 100 agents in Silicon Valley.
