A big fifth inning lifted Folsom Lake to a 6-1 over the Rams at Gavilan Tuesday. 
With a run already across and runners on second and third, the Falcons’ Tyler Kalm homered to clear the bases. Folsom Lake took a 6-0 lead, having scored two runs in the top of the third. 
Gavilan finally answered in the bottom of the ninth, when Erik Barron singled to score Tony Amaral. 
Amaral was 1 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base. Barron had a hit and an RBI in four at bats. Rex Lagman went 2 for 3 for Gavilan. 
The Rams (6-3) will host College of San Mateo at 2 p.m. Thursday.
