Dr. Margene Bloom-Roza Puente DC, passed away suddenly in her sleep from complications of Lyme Disease and Diabetes on January 28, 2009 at the age of 55.
Passed away peacefully on February 2, 2009 at the age of 80 with her entire family by her side. Born on November 11, 1928 in Monterey, CA to the late Gladys Dawson and Edmund Piedmont, she lived in Gilroy, CA for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linton B. Kludt, grandson, Miles Linton Kludt, and brother, Howard Williams. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Donald and Joyce Kludt, Patricia and Clay Bentson, and Daniel Kludt; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ken Stevenson, brother-in-law and sister-in law, Clarence and Nancy Kludt, step-sister, Kirsteen Dawson, as well as sisters-in-law, Betty Williams, Laura Botelho, Rosemary Kludt and Jeannie Kludt. She was a loving grandmother to Benjamin Kludt, Robert Bentson, Leslie and Michael Galvan, Caitlin Kludt, Ryan and Ingrid Hinn, and Jeff and Melissa Hinn. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren in 2008, Isabella Mackenzye Hinn, Alanna Lynn Galvan, and Taylor Ryan Hinn. In addition, she is survived by her Aunt Margaret Piedmont, and many cousins, grand nieces and nephews.
Passed away at home in Morgan Hill at the age of 84. She was born in San Juan Bautista, CA and grew up in Tres Pinos. She has lived in Morgan Hill for 42 years. She worked as a cook at South Valley Hospital in Gilroy until she was 75 years old. Her family was the biggest interest in her life.
Walt Keeshen, Jr., former newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and IBM communications executive, died at home on January 29, 2009, surrounded by family, in Morgan Hill, CA, of complications from prostate and liver cancer. He was 78. He and his wife, Kathleen Kearney Keeshen, moved to Morgan Hill from Ridgefield, CT, more than 25 years ago.
