Thomas L. Maloney, 87 of Gilroy. Tom was born in Syracuse, Missouri on October 21, 1921 and passed away October 20, 2008. He was a WWII veteran serving in the European theater and later was in the California National Guard.

C. Harold (Hal) Neubauer

Hal was born in Spokane, WA and raised and educated in Kellogg, ID. He graduated from Kellogg High School and Idaho State University School of Pharmacy. He moved to Hollister in 1966. He was a long time member of the Hollister Elks Lodge. He owned and operated Whalen's Drug Store for many years before retiring and moving to Sherwood, Oregon in 1996.

Francesco Fortino

Francesco Fortino, age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 12, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita for 47 years. They were married on July 22, 1961. He loved his two sons, Vince and Fausto both of Gilroy; devoted grandfather of Bianca Fortino of Gilroy, Michele Fortino of Hollister and Gianfranco Fortino of Gilroy; beloved brother of Albert Fortino of Palm Desert, Louie Fortino of Gilroy, Adele of Gilroy, Mary and Anna both of Italy and the late Giuseppe and Gene Fortino; dearest uncle of numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eugene Martin Klauer

Eugene Martin Klauer, age 70, passed away in Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento of a sudden illness. Eugene was born in Hollister on September 28, 1937 and attended local schools. He received a bachelor degree from Cal Poly in Aeronautical Engineering and a Masters Degree from Cal State Long Beach. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. His employment was with North American Rockwell and Martin Murietta. He enjoyed airplanes, racing events, gardening and reading.
