Ricardo (Richard) V. Munoz, Sr. passed away at the age of 66 in Gilroy, CA. He was with family at the time of his death. He came to Gilroy in 1962. He was a teacher's assistant for the handicapped and also worked at Bozzo's 76 Gas Station and South Valley Refuse. He is survived by his children Jessie Munoz and Sal, Mathilda Munoz-Lopez and Jorge and George Munoz all of Gilroy. Grandchildren Mario, Rigo, Vanessa, Veronica, Elisa, Jorge Jr., Mondo, Daniel and Myla all of Gilroy. Also great-grandchildren Saphire Sky and Mario Munoz Jr. Also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
A recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Catholic Blessing Service will be held on Sunday and Monday for Virginia Walsh who died at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz on July 26, 2010, following a lengthy illness. She was 80 years old.
In the comfort of his home, in his favorite easy chair, death came peacefully on August 1, 2007. His battle with lung cancer ended. Through the loving care of hospice, his family and his wonderful family of friends at Pine Tree Villas in Morgan Hill, his wish to remain independent and content at home was fulfilled. Always helpful to others, the love returned was unending.
Surrounded by family and friends, Rebecca passed away peacefully last Monday night at the age of 53. She lived in Gilroy all her life. She is survived by her mother, Mary Guajardo, sister Martha and brother Basil. Rebecca (Becky) will be greatly missed by all her knew her. A memorial service will be held at Full Gospel Church, 7250 Forest St., Gilroy on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 7:00 P.M.

Maria Amparo Ortiz De Armond died peacefully at home in San Jose surrounded by family. She was born in Brawley, CA to Teresa and Leopoldo Ortiz and was married for 35 years to the late Bob De Armond. She is survived by sisters Lupe, Eva, Marina, Alice, and brother Jesse. Her sister, Lydia predeceased her. She is also survived by step-son, Tony De Armond and numerous nieces and nephews. Services at 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 6th, 2010, in San Jose.
Gib was born in Oakland, California on July 22, 1946. His music career started at Los Gatos High School, where he was in a band called the Exiles. He served in the Army from 1966-1969 in Hawaii at Tripler Army Hospital where he worked in the postal department. He was also in a band during that time. In 1971 he joined Bill Chiechi to form the “Entertainers.”
