Born Irmgard Hartman, Irma is survived by her husband of 55 years Carmen "Babe" Gippetti, son Michael Gippetti, daughter and son-in-law Rosanne and Del Struthers and son and daughter-in law Jeffrey and Toni Gippetti as well as her four grandchildren Chelese, Drew, and Rachelle Struthers and Dominic Gippetti.
Gordon W. Tibbs, Sr., entered into rest at his Hollister home. He was born in Los Angeles and lived in Hollister for over 50 years moving here from Tracy. He and his wife, Maxine, were married in 1952 in San Luis Obispo. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and taught at San Benito High School for over 20 years in the Ag Department. He retired in 1975. He served his country honorably in the US Navy and was a member of California Ag Teachers Association and was state president and a member of their hall of fame. He was also a member of the California Retired Teachers Association. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home and did woodcarving. He also attended Calvary Baptist Church and Grace Bible Church in Hollister.
Peggy Anne Ashford long-time downtown business owner, passed away peacefully on July 18th, 2012, at her home in Gilroy at the age of 81. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Â
John A. Marsh, Sr. 1925-2010 born in Dunsmuir, CA. Long time resident of Santa Clara County. He served in WWII, was a 40 year member of the Elks, Master of the Masons 1997, and proud teacher for 40 years. Loving husband of the late Shirley Marsh; proud father of Janice Sornberger, and John Marsh, Jr. and his wife Linda; dearest grandfather of David Sornberger and wife Elizabeth, Douglas Sornberger and his wife Yvette; dear great-grandfather of Justin, Jamie, Ashley, Alyvia and Maleigha.
Ofelia Lespron Esquivel born January 20, 1923, joined our Heavenly Father on June 22, 2010. Gilroy resident since 1964, she was a homemaker, hospital worker and restaurant owner throughout her life.
