Mary S. Quesada

Mary S. Quesada, long-time resident of the Imperial Valley passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009. She went peacefully, in her sleep. She fought the good fight, and had survived three strokes within the last year and a half. She was 85. Mary married Antonio Quesada and they raised their family of six in Holtville, CA. After waitressing many years, Mary decided to stay home and become a Foster parent. Our brother, Thomas, was adopted into our family when he was three years old. Mary will be remembered for her loving heart, her quick wit, her ready smile, and her wicked games of Yahtzee and Bunko! And her very funny stories! We were fortunate to have her for many years, and we miss her dearly, but we rest in the knowledge that she is at rest with our loved ones that have gone before us.

Milo Fierro put the kickstand down one last time on August 15, 2007 when he arrived at the end of his life's ride. A native of Gilroy, Milo enjoyed a wide variety of pleasures, none more than riding one of the many motorcycles he owned during his life. He is survived by his mother Natividad Fierro, two sons, Zack and Zeb, siblings, Paul, Ralph, Sonia and Sam, and many relatives and friends. We will miss hearing him tell stories about his tireless search for a good time and remember with a laugh every story he shared.
