HAZEL SCOTT CRONIN CONNERY, born 7/6/15 in Whitney, SD and a resident of Gilroy, died peacefully surrounded by family on 4/3/09. She was a highly adored daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Predeceased by husbands Patrick Cronin and Charles Connery and daughter Maeve Cronin-Williams. Hazel will be sadly missed by her children Deirdre (late Hugh) Saracino, Eileen (late Daniel) Cuevas, Kevin (Gail) Cronin, Kathleen Cronin (Sean Maffett), Joan Cronin (Sean Dempsey), and Coemella Cronin (John Wilson), and her loving sister Ruth. Loving Grandma to 19, Great-Grandma to 6 and Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Despite life's many challenges, Hazel remained unflappable, gracious, positive, and patient. Her garden and home were reflections of her character. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Gilroy, Thursday, 4/9/09, 10:00 A.M. John passed away peacefully with his loving wife Toni at his side. He is survived by three brothers, one sister and their spouses, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. John served his country and the Army bestowed the Bronze Star Medal with Valor (combat heroism), Purple Heart and more on this veteran. The Barretts retired to AZ and love to play bingo.
Phyllis Jean passed away on December 8, 2010, after a lengthy illness, she was the third of three children born to Elmer and Agnes Sutton of Salinas, CA.
