Charles Forrest Sainsbury passed away Saturday morning at his home at the age of 47. Born in San Francisco, he came to Hollister in 2000. He was a designer for Genesis Microchip Inc. for the past 5 years.
Don passed after a brief illness. He was happiest hunting and fishing or being with his family. He graduated in 1955 from Richmond High in Richmond, CA, where he was born and raised. He was an excellent salesman. He marrried Beverly on August 15,1959 and they had a wonderful life together. He had two great sons Don S. Pierce and Mike Pierce who he taught to be hunters and fishermen. The family moved to Gilroy in January of 1969. He is also survived by his mother Frances Pierce, sister Sue Williamson, brother Dennis Pierce, nephew Steve Williamson and niece Stephanie Becker and many relatives and friends.
A visitation will take place Monday, January 12, 2015, from 5:00 -8:00 P.M.; Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M., on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, both at Habing Family Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to your favorite charity in her name.

Dorothy B. Pippin died in Gilroy. She was born in Taft, CA, and lived in Hollister for many years and in Gilroy for 4 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was active in the Lutheran Church, and The Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Elliott Hansen, Gilbert Uht and David Pippin.
