Ho! Ho! Ho, Gilroy! As the holiday spirit takes a hold of our town, I am overjoyed to announce the upcoming “Santa to the Rescue” extravaganza! This special event is all about spreading warmth and festive cheer for families in need. Once again, it is my honor to don that special hat and beard that transforms your Councilmember Tovar into “Santa” for this fun-filled event!
Join us this Saturday, Dec. 9 from 2-4pm, as Gilroy’s downtown pop-up park is transformed into a beautiful Winter Wonderland! “Santa to the Rescue” event promises an afternoon filled with gifts for families in need, pictures with Santa, delicious food and treats, live holiday music, and an abundance of fun for the entire community.
This year’s Christmas Gift Giveaway is shaping up to be Santa’s grandest event yet, so I am excited to extend a warm welcome to everyone in the community to participate in the festivities. It’s an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference and share the warmth of the season with those who need it most.
