Gilroy – Police are looking for a man suspected in a stabbing at a gas station parking lot Saturday night.
Officers responded to a 26-year-old male victim of a stabbing at Rotten Robbie gas station, 390 Leavesley Road, about 11:59pm Saturday.
The man was in the station parking lot when he saw an altercation involving three men and intervened, said Sgt. Kurt Svardal. He did not know the men who were fighting, Svardal said.
He was stabbed during the altercation by one of the men, but the injuries were not life-threatening. He was treated and released from Saint Louise Regional Hospital, Svardal said.
The suspect, who is being sought on attempted homicide charges, is described as a Hispanic male, about 24 years old, with black hair, brown eyes, who was wearing a red shirt and pants at the time of the stabbing.
