The Gilroy Police Department responded to a variety of crimes this week, including urinating in public, battery of a former spouse, finance or cohabitant and the manufacture and sale of metal knuckles. Arrests were recorded in this week’s GPD blotter from Nov. 24 through Dec. 2.
Urinating in public
-Raul Baez, 56, on Nov. 25 at 3:15 p.m. on the 7300 block of Alexander Street for urinating in public.
Manufacture / sale of metal knuckles
-Christopher Chavez, 20, on Nov. 28 at 10:08 p.m. on the 8300 block of La Coche Way for manufacture / sale / etc. of metal knuckles.
Intoxicating liquor in a public place
-Ignacio Vera, 49, on Nov. 25 at 3:08 p.m. on the 7200 block of Monterey Street for intoxicating liquor in a public place.
Theft
-Amanda Leon, 22, on Nov. 26 at 8:47 p.m. on the 6700 block of Camino Arroyo for theft of personal property.
-Adrianne Leon, 21, on Nov. 26 at 8:55 p.m. on the 6700 block of Camino Arroyo for theft of personal property.
-Joel Alvarado, 30, on Nov. 29 at 2:11 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo Circle for petty theft crime.

-Nicole Wigfall, 21, on Nov. 29 at 5 a.m. on the 8300 block of Arroyo Circle for possession of burglary tools.
-Henisha Tobias, 21, on Nov. 29 at 5 a.m. on the 8300 block of Arroyo Circle for possession of burglary tools.
Inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant
-Angel Rangel, 35, on Nov. 29 at 3:03 p.m. on the 9300 block of Monterey Street for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
-Oscar Zavala, 31, on Nov. 30 at 4:42 a.m. on the 600 block of Seventh Street for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
Possession of a controlled substance
-Alfredo Arzola, 36, on Nov. 29 at 9:41 p.m. on the 8800 block of Lilly Avenue for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
Battery
-Michael Gonzalez, 49, on Dec. 2 at 11:17 a.m. for battery on a former spouse, finance or cohabitant.
Suspended license
-Jacob Gonzales, 22, on Nov. 27 at 12:47 p.m. on the 8500 block of Gaunt Avenue for a suspended license.
Under the influence
-Pedro Rodriguez, 38, on Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Leavesley Road and Arroyo Circle for driving under the influence.
-John Cadena, 54, on Nov. 25 at 12:47 p.m. on the 5900 block of Tranel Park Circle for use / being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
-Alejandro Lara, 26, on Nov. 30 at 1:08 a.m. on the 7500 block of Monterey Street for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.
-Olegario Torres, 23, on Nov. 30 at 2:53 a.m. on the 9200 block of Jacaranda Way for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.
Driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher
-Juana Pacheco, 25, on Dec. 1 at 12:38 a.m. near the intersection of Old Gilroy Street and Alexander Street for driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher.

-Federico Zavala, 31, on Nov. 29 at 2:11 a.m. near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Martin Street for driving with privileges suspended.
-Henry Vasquez, 22, on Dec. 2 at 2:15 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for driving with privileges suspended.

-Mark Cesena, 46, on Nov. 27 at 11:30 a.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for unlawful possession of paraphernalia.

-Oscar Dominguez, 21, on Nov. 30 at 11:58 p.m. on the 9300 block of Monterey Road for false imprisonment and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
-Hector Castro, 25, on Nov. 24 at 8:37 p.m. on the 8200 block of Kelton Drive for unlawful possession of paraphernalia and battery of former spouse, finance, or cohabitant.
-Elizabeth Trevathan, 35, on Nov. 25 at 11:31 a.m. near the intersection of Church Street and Welburn Avenue for a challenge/ fight in a public place, and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
-Raul Silva, 50, on Nov. 28 at 4:18 p.m. near the intersection of Leavesley Road and Forest Street for failure to appear, four or more stolen access cards and contempt of court.
-Robert Martinez, 44, on Nov. 28 at 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of Seventh Street and Eigleberry Street for parole violation, possession of marijuana, battery on specified person, resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, and battery against a spouse, cohabitation or fiancé.
-Steven Hoyland, 27, on Nov. 30 at 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of Hudson Place and Orchard Drive for driving/ taking a vehicle without the owners’ permission, robbery and violation of a protective order.
-Aldo Gonzalez, 32, on Dec. 1 at 10:37 p.m. near the intersection of Rancho Hills Drive and Longmeadow Drive for possession of a controlled substance for sale, evading a peace officer/ reckless driving, transaction, sale or furnishing of a controlled substance, parole violation, resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer, use/ being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance.
-Sergio Lucio, 23, on Dec. 2 at 7:28 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and sodomy with a person under 16 years old.
