The Gavilan College men’s soccer team moved to 3-2 in the Coast Conference with a 1-0 nod against Skyline College in San Bruno on Tuesday.

Anthony Velasquez netted his fourth goal of the season for the Rams off of an assist from Alex Mejia. Goalie Eric Saavedra faced six shots on goal and turned aside each attempt.

With nine games still remaining in the regular season, the Rams are 7-3-1 overall. The seven wins mark the most the program has had since an 11-victory effort in 2003.
