A car collided into a telephone poll on northbound U.S. 101 near Highway 25 across from Rapazzini Winery Friday around 2 p.m., injuring the driver, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officer Erica Elias didn’t immediately know if the driver was a man or a woman. Though the collision slowed traffic along U.S. 101, the driver suffered only minor injuries, Elias said.

PG&E arrived on scene by 2:45 p.m. to repair downed power lines, which had blocked up traffic, Elias said. However, traffic was expected to be moving again within the hour.
