Walter Joseph Walsh

Walter Walsh passed away after a short bout with cancer. He was a third generation native of Morgan Hill. His father, Patrick (Gus) Walsh for whom the P. A. Walsh Elementary School was named, served as a trustee of the Morgan HIll Unified School District for 43 years. Walter was a member of the Live Oak High School class of 1951 and a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for many years as a General Engineering Contractor in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. After retiring in 1990, he worked as a Bulldozer Operator fighting wild land fires with his brother Donald and his nephew Warren. Since 1990, he and his family have made their home in Browns Valley, California.

Robert (Bobby) G. Ivelich

This cowboy took his final ride into the sunset, after a four-year courageous battle with cancer. He fought strong until the very end. He was 58 years old. Born and raised in Hollister, yet he traveled many trails throughout his lifetime making many friends along the way. One of his most memorable moments was when he was fortunate enough to meet the country duo Brooks & Dunn and star in one of their most famous music videos. He was an avid fisherman in his younger days and loved going salmon fishing at Moss Landing. He also enjoyed hunting with his family and friends; he had so many stories to tell about his wild pigs and big bucks that he hunted. Those who knew him well, knew what a kind heart he had, he was always willing to help out a friend in need. Although he was only here for a short lifetime, we will always remember the good times we shared. Some remember "Bobby" as the man who wore the Black Stetson Cowboy Hat cocked just a little to the right on a good night. We love you and miss you dearly, but we find comfort in knowing your pain is finally over and can no longer hurt you. Lead on Cowboy "As the last good bye's the hardest one to say, this is where the Cowboy rides away"…….
