Gilroy Saigon Bistro celebrates grand opening
Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors joined owners Janet (Tran) Lam at the grand opening of Gilroy’s Saigon Bistro Express Nov. 7 at 1280 First St., Ste E. The restaurant features traditional Vietnamese cooking that is greatly admired for freshness of the ingredients and for the healthy eating style.

Subway celebrates grand opening
Owner Roman Nahal and the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the new Subway restaurant in the McCarthy Retail Center in Gilroy on Oct. 29. The store is the first in the Bay Area to feature a drive-thru. Details 847-3300 or subway.com.
Business briefs: Marshalls opens new Gilroy store
Marshalls opened its new store Thursday at the Pacheco Pass Center, 7201 Camino Arroyo. The 27,984 square-foot building feature a fresh, contemporary design with a bright, easy-to-shop layout and a single line checkout for fast service, according to a press release. Marshalls contributed to the surrounding community by presenting a $5,000 check to St. Joseph Family Center at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Regular store hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. The store will add approximately 60 full and part-time jobs to the area. Ribbon cutting for new Welcome Center
