Santa Catalina had 35 straight wins heading into Thursday's contest against Christopher, but the Cougars put an end to that. The Christopher girls golf team topped Santa Catalina 257-265 Thursday at Gilroy Golf Course. Natalie Gutierrez scored at 47 to lead the Cougars against S.C. Julie Santiago shot a 52, Kylie Kuwada a 52, Nina Velez a 53, Alex Granados a 54 and Mia Navarro a 62. Navarro drove No. 17 green to get her first official birdie.
